The Director, Patient Engagement and Support is responsible for developing and leading patient engagement and advocacy. This experienced communications professional will implement a comprehensive patient engagement program and will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining the MT Pharma America corporate reputation with key patient advocacy and professional organizations. He/she will also ibe responsible for leading patient engagement support for RADICAVA™ (edaravone), approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for any patient diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
This position is the primary point of contact with local, regional and national patient advocacy organizations, professional medical societies, health-related think tanks and foundations and is responsible for creating, planning and implementing innovative programs in collaboration with internal colleagues and external groups that support the company’s strategic and therapeutic objectives, reputational goals and the mission and goals of regional third party groups. This position will have significant involvement with senior leadership, given the prominence and importance of advocacy relationship to the organization. The Director will lead the patient advocacy marketing efforts for future launch brands and product acquisitions.
