The National Reimbursement Manager (NRM) will serve as the primary liaison between assigned national accounts and all key departments within the company, assuring that customers are taken care of in a professional manner and that customer needs are consistently being met.  The NRM will also understand customers’ goals and objectives, determine any areas where the company can be more helpful or provide additional resources, and establish appropriate access to all key internal stakeholders within the company.

The NRM conducts quarterly business reviews with the account to assure goals and objectives are being met and coordinates all market access initiatives within targeted accounts. The NRM also provides regular and ad hoc internal reporting to ensure product, corporate revenue and reimbursement objectives are being achieved.


  • Coordinates access to RADICAVA™ and any future products in assigned national accounts, leading site of care and referral network within these facilities.
  • Ensures internal stakeholders/teams provide the highest level of customer service to national accounts, ensuring clients’ requirements are met in a timely manner.
  • Participates in any contract negotiation between a national account and the company. If customer has a contracted rate for products, visits customer site to better assess needs and renegotiates prices.
  • Visits new customers either before or shortly after placement of first order to assess needs, offer advice, and provide reassurance regarding any future issue resolution.
  • Maintains frequent contact with new customers until there’s certainty the customer is being serviced properly, and afterwards, continues to provide contact on a regular, recurring basis.
  • Leads and directs all communication and account activities for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitors incoming orders and ensures these are fulfilled effectively with Searchlight Support.
  • Holds regular monthly meetings and/or conference calls with internal stakeholders about status of National Accounts.
  • Investigates and resolves queries and issues raised such as billing, coding, product purchasing, and infusion efficiencies.
  • Arranges meetings with all relevant decision makers within the national account and holds quarterly business reviews to assess opportunities and/or address and resolve emerging concerns.
  • Identifies and addresses specific needs of the customers on an ongoing basis.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with customers to ensure long-term success.
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings according to company standards.
  • Liaises with the sales, reimbursement, medical affairs and marketing departments to coordinate cross-functional work, and set and implement strategies to achieve account goals and objectives.
  • Stays up-to-date with internal and external reimbursement developments.


  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Administration or related field
  • Master’s degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry including 3 years of successful experience as a National Reimbursement Manager or Field Reimbursement Manager
  • Solid experience providing customer service on national accounts
  • Experience negotiating contracts and meeting client requirementsExperience working with patient access HUBs, buy/bill products, and unspecified J Codes
  • Preferred: infusion experience
  • Thorough knowledge of commercial reimbursement, Medicare and Medicaid, and access HUBs
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to act as the key interface between customers and all relevant stakeholders
  • Ability to lead and motivate team members without direct supervisory authority
  • Proven ability to play an integral role in new business pitches and to own the on-boarding of new clients while currently growing and developing existing clients
  • Proven ability to write strategic business plans and organize all internal stakeholders to meet customers’ goals and objectives
  • Expertise with CRM software and proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% domestically
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Manual dexterity required to operate office equipment, i.e. computers, phones, copy machine/printer
  • Ability to carry, handle and reach for objects
  • Ability to lift and pull up to 15 pounds
