    The Summer Intern (Supply Chain) will be responsible for assisting the MTPA Supply Chain group with

    managing drug supply activities related to planning, label development, label & pack, and distribution.

     

    This position offers an extraordinary opportunity for individuals interested in building experience in commercialization for Orphan Drug and Specialty Markets, therapeutic areas with high unmet needs, while working with a cross-functional team rich in exceptional talent.

     

    Note: This position is a summer internship that will last approximately 10 – 12 weeks.

    Responsibilities

    • Assists Supply Chain team in managing product inventory throughout the supply chain and into Commercial Distribution
    • Develop reports, re: Inventory in different segments of the production schedule as directed
    • Assists with projects and functions with Contract Packaging vendor to facilitate commercial inventory supply
    • Assists with other projects in Supply Chain segment as required

    Qualifications

    • Must be currently attending a college or university or have graduated one within the year. A major in Supply Chain, Operations or closely related area is preferred.
    • HS Diploma or GED required.
    • 0 – 2 years of work experience.
    • Sound analytical skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
    • Collaborative style; able to contribute to a team-oriented environment
    • Competency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    Physical Demands:

    • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
    • Manual dexterity required to operate office equipment, i.e. computers, phones, copy machine/printer
    • Ability to carry, handle and reach for objects
    • Ability to lift and pull up to 15 pounds
