The Manager, Sales Operations is responsible for managing execution of various processes that support the commercial infrastructure on sales, reimbursement, and other teams.  This role will be directly responsible for sales operations activities for Radicava, Exservan, and other future products.  This position offers an extraordinary opportunity for individuals interested in helping to grow a US company with immediate opportunities in the Orphan Drug and Specialty Markets, therapeutic areas with high unmet needs, while working with a cross-functional team rich in exceptional talent.

Responsibilities

Sales Force Automation (SFA):

  • Manages project timelines and budget for Veeva CRM based on needs of commercial organization
  • Responsible for all testing within CRM to ensure internal process are enabled via CRM; identify gaps and put forth recommendations for solution with Vendor
  • Manages internal and external communications appropriately to ensure all stakeholders are receiving proactive communication related to our systems
  • Coordinates with Field on Data Change Requests and oversees Helpdesk to ensure data integrity
  • Oversees helpdesk managing field-based CRM questions/business needs (internal and third-party)
  • Manages yearly SFA budget for licenses and support
  • Implements quality assurance processes for data loads and identify any gaps, partnering with external vendor and data analytics team to rectify
  • Manages Veeva CRM business rules and works to bridge gap between Analytics and Veeva CRM to support field leadership reporting needs
  • Ensures ongoing field-team data management/data stewardship in Veeva
  • Conducts New Hire and ad hoc Veeva/CRM training as required
  • Ongoing support for Neurology Account Specialist (NAS) personalized email utilization

Onboarding and Off Boarding of Field-Based Personnel:

  • Manages Vendor Credentialing process for the field, partnering with the field employees and Human resources to gather all relevant information
  • Ensures Onboarding/Off Boarding process of critical Sales Operations systems and expectations are completed

Compliance Support and Adherence:

  • Partners with Sales, Compliance, and Commercial Operations for approval and monitoring of call plans and healthcare provider master list based on all industry regulations
  • Attends Promotional Material Review Committee (PMRC) meetings as needed to review relevant Sales Operations training-related materials, including content for National Sales Meetings, Plan Of Action meetings, and Field Leadership Meetings

Additional duties as required based on needs of department and commercial projects, including:

  • Territory mapping support for workload balance, territory alignment, and restructuring
  • Supplemental reporting, as required and as requested, for prospecting, target reach, targeting/segmentation, and other field- and home-office based reports when identified

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years relevant business experience in the pharma industry which includes at least 1-2 years in field sales (or field sales support) and which project management responsibilities
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the Pharma industry, broad therapeutic areas/disease states, drugs/treatments, and related regulatory, commercialization and compliance requirements
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and formal presentation skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; proven ability to engage others in collaborative initiatives
  • General understanding of building and maintaining processes/data systems
  • Excellent analytical, investigative and creative problem-solving skills
  • Good project management skills
  • Demonstrates responsiveness, attention to detail, and follow-through coupled with ability to prioritize/multi-task effectively
  • Leads by example, displaying integrity, collaboration, accessibility, adaptability, sound judgment/decision making, and an entrepreneurial, solutions-oriented attitude
  • Adherence to and respect for policies/confidential information
  • Strong computer and technical skills coupled with strong data management skills; proven ability to manipulate data from large databases in Microsoft Access and Excel
  • Must be able to travel up to 20% domestically for regional and national meetings as needed

The salary range for this position is $93,000 - $149,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary may be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state and depending on the role), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.

 

This position is eligible to participate in our annual Short-Term Incentive (STI) program.  Specific information about the plan including eligibility rules and target, will be furnished upon hire.
